SOLIDS

Solids should be used in any location where the holes or the
brick side will be seen, for example, windows and stairs. Do not allow your
brick mason to fill the brick holes with mortar or use a brick solid that does
not match the color of the other brick. We offer solids to match all of our
brick colors.
To use any solid units as pavers is fine; however, they will
require a mortar joint or bond.
DRY SET PAVERS
Size: 7 5/8
x 3 13/16 x 2 ¼
This dry set size paver allows you to use or not use a
mortar joint. This size will course out like a 4 x 8.
Pavers are available in Red; Full Range; Flashed; Straight
Edge and Chamfered Edge. Antebellum pavers are tumbled to create an “old” or
“used” appearance. Chamfered edge means that we have rolled the edges down.
This prevents chipping and creates a softer appearance.
You now have the freedom to use a traditional mortar bond or
a do-it-yourself project by using a sweeping sand method. Sweeping sand method
is just what it sounds like. Once you have prepared the area where pavers are
to go, simply lay the pavers in the pattern you have chosen. Then, scatter dry
concrete mixed with sand over the pavers. It will probably take more than one
application. Your patio or pathway is ready for immediate use even after one
sweeping.
